We are pleased to offer several pieces of our collection of Vintage Middle Eastern lighting to our customers. These lamps were made primarily to provide lighting in Mosques and other similar structures long before electricity. They were fueled by oil in the hand blown glass globes hanging from the base of the lamp. They are made of extremely heavy brass and beautiful hand cut filigreed designs adorn the surface which are then highlighted by hammering silver and copper wire onto the designs until it become fully annealed to the brass.
This particular model is 15 inches wide and 33 inches high. It has 7 hand blown glass globes each containing a bulb.
This is truly a beautiful ONE OF A KIND example of artistic lighting from the Middle East of the past!
