This brass necklace from West Africa is a striking example of the fine work by artisans from Mali or Nigeria. Each brass ball consists of slender twisted strands of brass soldered onto a base finely engraved with circular lines. The spacers between the balls are yellow and black trade beads. Necklace is 36" long and doesn't open but slips easily over your head.
